Sunscreen is the number one skin protection product for the body, too. Even on the presumably less sensitive skin of the body, UVA/UVB and infrared radiation cause the formation of free radicals and make the skin dry out. These are accelerating factors for signs of premature skin ageing, such as pigmentation and the formation of lines and wrinkles.
Our SUN range therefore contains modern and highly effective UV filters. They do not accumulate in the body, do not disrupt metabolic processes or the hormonal balance, and are photostable. They are proven to be harmless to people and the environment – an important aspect if you enjoy going in the water but don’t want the filters to be left behind and cause harm to sea dwellers. Furthermore, a vitamin complex provides protection against infrared radiation and free radicals. SPF 30 is suitable for skin that is already tanned.
However, always remember to apply sunscreen at least thirty minutes before going out in the sun. Always favour the shade, and never stay in the sun for longer than the time prescribed by the filter and skin type. Stay out of the midday sun. And please remember to reapply after bathing. However, reapplying sunscreen does not mean that you can prolong the protection by the same length of time, for example.
